Not even a year since the Meizu M2 Note was released and the Meizu M3 Note has been announced.

Meizu M3 Note specs

  • Display: IPS OGS 5.5″@1080P 2.5D glass protection
  • SoC: MTK Helio P10 MT6755 MTK6755
  • CPU: big.LITTLE ARM® Cortex®-A53™1.8GHz x4 + ARM® Cortex®-A53™ 1.0GHz x4
  • GPU: Mali-T860
  • RAM: 2GB/3GB
  • ROM storage: 16GB/32GB
  • Dual-SIM: Yes

Interestingly, Meizu has gone with MediaTek for their SoC this time around. Specifically MTK’s new Helio P10, which carries a big.LITTLE CPU configuration that allows it to handle heavy load tasks with the higher-powered CPU cores while handling background and light load tasks with the lower-powered cores.

Taking a look at the back of the Meizu M3 Note, we see that it looks nearly identical to the Xiaomi Redmi 3 Note. The color scheme is also similar, though the gold version of the M3 Note appears to have a white face as opposed to a gold face with Redmi 3 Note.

As with the M2 Mini, Frequency support on the Meizu M3 Note is likely to vary depending on locality. There are 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB versions available.
