Confirmation has just come in via TENAA, China’s equivalent to America’s FCC, that LeEco LeTV will be releasing their latest mobile series with a dual-camera setup.
The phone model is the LeEco X652 Le 2 and LeEco X652 Le 2S Pro. These are the successors to last years flagship LeEco 1S.
As we see in the picture here, the phone carries dual-cameras combined with the LED flash to form a smiley face of sorts.
SoC
According to leaked images, the LeEco X652 Le 2 will will carry MTK6797 Helio X20 and LeEco X652 Le 2 Pro will carry MTK6797T Helio X25 technology.
LeTV Le X652 Le 2S
There’s some hope that a variant will be released with Snapdragon 820 or Snapdragon 821, but at this point the leaked images hold only Helio X20 MT6797 / Helio X20 MT6797T spec information.
Notably, LeTV LeEco X652 Le 2 has forsaken the 3.5mm audio jack in favor of USB Type-C audio. This is a questionable decision, as some would argue LeTV is on the forefront of technology, others would call it a hassle to have to use an adapter for existing headphones.
A bigger battery
Excellent to see LeEco fitting a decent sized battery in comparsion to the 3000mAh from last year’s models.
When is it coming
The LeEco X652 Le 2 and X652 Pro will be announced officially on 01-SEP-2016, with another promotional event announced for 19-SEP-2016, where the Le 2s is expected to be announced.

I’m confused, you say that it will be announced on the 19th August and go on sale a few days later on an article posted on the 31 August. I’m guessing you mean September?
