From what I’ve read, the mi5c is supposed to come with an in-house soc referred to as “pine cone.” AnTuTu scores have been reported in the 60-65k range, so perhaps something intended to compete with the p10/sd625. I’m hoping it’s true. Samsung and Huawei have made some excellent SOC’s with their exynos and kirin lines. Would be nice to see Xiaomi do the same. At least for their mid to entry level models.

Hello Jh1, thanks for the tip here. It will be interesting if it turns out true. Xiaomi has come very far.
Looks rumors have been floating around about Xiaomi Mi5c for a couple months now. Interesting nothing yet, Xiaomi normally very quick to produce once the rumors start.

I was expecting to see the mi5c/Meri by now, but I haven’t heard much on it for the last month or so. The leaked photos looked nice, if they’re legit.
