Seeing this upcoming release from UmiDigi, I immediately became interested due to several very interesting specs.
The big battery – The 3000-3500mAh batteries in the mainbrand flagships just don’t have enough juice for me. UmiDigi F1 has a big 5150mAh battery. Combined with the P60’s 12nm finfet process, we’re looking at what should be excellent battery life.
Helio P60 – Released in Q3 2018 Helio P60 is a big mid-range contender. It carries two powerful Cortex-A73 and four efficient Cortex-A53 cores. The GPU is the serviceable Mali-G72 MP3 and the manufacturing process is 12nm.
Global 3G and LTE: Radio support includes 3G: B1/2/4/5/6/8/19, TDD-LTE B34/38/39/40/41, and FDD-LTE B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/25/26/28A/28B. A bold move which makes the F1 very attractive.
Other specs include 4GB RAM, 128GB ROM, and a 1080P 6.3″ display. At this price, the UmiDigi F1 looks like a strong contender in the $200 range.
