iNew v5 Review Specifications!
Hot on the heals of the Doogee DG550 Dagger announcement, iNew has already released a demo models of their iNew v5. So far, this is what we know about the iNew V5:
- SoC: MT6592
- CPU: 8-core 1.7GHz
- GPU: Mali-450 Mp4
- Radios: GSM/WCDMA
- Cameras: 13mp rear / 5mp front
- Battery: 2270mA
- Sensors: Gravity, Proximity, Compass
- Dimensions: 157*78*7.2
From the video, it looks like the iNew V5 will be all black. Possibly with a white version to come in the future. The iNew V5 is scheduled to be mass produced and released in May 2014.
Love it or hate it, the iNew v3 was one of, if not the biggest, China models to hit in a long time – possibly ever and it’s done a lot for the market as well. When people see the iNew v3 phone, they want to know – what is it? how much? where to get it? The aluminum side panels, sleek profile and the futuristic Evil Eye sitting in the middle of the bottom of the phone make Samsung phones look plain.Good thing they’ve upped the battery a bit, with reported specs showing 2270mA, though the screen being slightly bigger will offset the increase in mA some. The one area that iNew needs to work on is getting the weak internal charging system fixed. Inexplicably, this has been going on for 5 months now and still the brand new units produced have the faulty systems. For a phone that’s otherwise great, it’s a frustrating wrench in the mix. Let’s hope the iNew V5 gets this right.

would love to see a single sim version of the inew phones in the future
Why is that Paul?
LoL, why? You can just use only the one sim slot
Hi Damian….Will this have 2gb ram ?
BTW….Happy Songkran !!
I’m not sure. We pulled this info from the video and that data isn’t shown on the box.
Are you in Thailand? Actually I plan on hiding indoors until evening time for the next few days : )
Yes,Korat. This’ll be my 16th Songkran !
I’d love to stay home and explore my inew V3 (which took 50 days to get here), but my eight year old daughter wants to spend every minute she can out there, so I’m getting soaked for sure.
I intend on buying more stuff from China, but went with standard delivery on the V3 (was concerned about import duty). could you pls advise me on the best & cheapest method of getting my orders quicker ?
I just don’t wanna be receiving stuff up to 2 months after paying for it !!
I currently use DHL. 5 days flat from day of shipping. They forward it to EMS because DHL doesn’t deliver to my town. Actually the only time I paid duty was when I ordered through regular mail, but that was long ago. Regular mail shouldn’t take more than 15 business days. Not 50, unless the seller shipped late or it got lost. Were there some circumstances?
Hi Tone,
I read some reviews about the music quality through headphones of the v3 being flat without good bass. Could you please comment as it seems that you own one?
I wanted to know from you that is thl w200s reliable will it last for 4 to 5 years with good performance.
Please reply soon
Regards
Abhimannyu
There’s no way I could tell you if it will last 4 or 5 years. Even if you bought an $800 Samsung I couldn’t tell you that.
