A couple of months back, Doogee released the fantastically priced Doogee X5 and X5 Pro. These two phones were differentiated by MT6580/1GB/8GB specs with the X5, and MT6735/2GB/16GB with the X5 Pro. It seems incredible we can now have phone with the specs of the X5 Pro for $85, but there it is.
Now Doogee is releasing a $69.99 X5 that falls in between these two, the Doogee X5S.

We see the very capable 1.0GHz MT6735 powering the Doogee X5S. This is the budget processor of choice, running 720P Android butter smooth while enabling manufacture’s to release sub-$100 mobiles.
We also get a 720P display which looks quite good on a 5.0″ mobile. A nice bonus is the inclusion of an SD expansion slot for media and app needs.
I’ve reviewed several Doogee mobiles and have found them all to be quite good and one of the best bang-for-the-buck mobiles out there.
Note that those in the America’s will not have 3G/4G support, but will have voice and 2G data support.
